Mary Isobel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien OBE (16 April 1939 – 2 March 1999), professionally known as Dusty Springfield, was an English pop singer and record producer whose career extended from the late 1950s to the 1990s.

Dusty Springfield. She was a pop singer as well as a record producer.
She was very active from the 1950s till 1990s.
She had a typical mezzo-soprano sound, and was an important singer of the blue-eyed soul.
During her career peak, she was amongst of the most popular British female performers. She had her six top 20 singles in the US Billboard Hot 100 whereas, sixteen being on the UK Singles Chart right from 1963 to 1989.
Dusty is a member of the UK Music Halls of Fame and the US Rock and Roll.
Many international polls have even named her the best female rock singer of all times.
