Ans: Mary Kom's father was really a far sighted man. In an education was village

where a girl’s education was not given any importance. He made sure that his

children, (including Mary) must go to an English School and complete

matriculation. Though his earning was meager, he hears determined to provide

education for the Children as he knew the importance of education.
