Solution:

Let Actual weigh of maryam be " x ".

Then, Weight reduced is.

$x \times \frac{6.25}{100} = \frac{6.25x}{100}$

New weight is:

$Actual\ Weight - Weigth\ reduced = New \ weight$

⇒  $x - \frac{6.25x}{100} =45$

⇒  $\frac{100x-6.25x}{100} =45$

⇒  $93.75x = 4500$

⇒  $x = \frac{4500}{93.75} = \frac{450000}{9375} = 48 .$
