Answer:

hola

M = 200gm

u =?

V = 0

t = 0.04s

so,

u = mv {}^{2}

u = 200×0^2

u = 0

u×t

= 0×0.04

= 0

These questions can be considered as very basic questions (preliminary) for physics learners who are at the beginning. Did you remember me? Yeah, am Akash (Akashdip Das, reached brainly again on 2022), here to answer this question in detail.

Mass = 200 g = 0.2 kg

Initial velocity (u) = ?

Final velocity (v) = 0

Time (t) = 0.04 second.

First of all recall Newton's second Law of motion. It was somewhat like F = kma where in almost 99% cases we hold the value of k as 1.

So, F = ma. But wait! We do not know the values of force and acceleration as well we only know the mass then what is the advantage of using this formula in this question?

We should use a simple formula, that is the definition of acceleration, a = (v-u)/t.

So, a =(0-u)/0.04 = -u/0.04

So, u = -0.04a ...............(i)

Generally, u remains positive and for doing so, a should be negative which will make u allover positive. But where's the value of acceleration? It's not provided right?

So the question itself is incomplete, nothing to worry, if acceleration's value is given you can directly put the value in equation (i). Otherwise, you have to use F=ma to calculate acceleration provided the value of F is given.
