v(final velocity)=0

u(initial velocity)= let be u

by using formla v=u+at

0=x+10×6

0=x+60

x=-60(here negative sign shows the ball thrown upwards)

now by using next formula v^2=u^2+2as

0^2=(-60)^2+2×10×s

0=3600+20s

s=-180

Hence we have u=-60m/s

and s=-180(height of the rising ball)=180m
