\bigstar Question

Force required in accelerating

  • 4 kg mass at 5 m/s²
  • 3 kg mass at 7 m/s²

\bigstar Solution

We know that

\red{\rm \longrightarrow F=ma}

Here

  • F = force
  • m = mass
  • a = acceleration

Units

  • F = Newton (N)
  • m = kilogram (kg)
  • a = metres/second square (m/s²)

According to the question

We are asked to find force

Therefore

We must find "F"

From the given question

  • 4 kg mass at 5 m/s²

Hence

  • m = 4 kg
  • a = 5 m/s²

Substituting the values

We get

\rm \longrightarrow F_{1}=4 \times 5 \ N

Therefore

\rm \longrightarrow F_{1}=20 \ N

Similarly

From the given question

  • 3 kg mass at 7 m/s²

Hence

  • m = 3 kg
  • a = 7 m/s²

Substituting the values

We get

\rm \longrightarrow F_{2}=3 \times 7 \ N

Therefore

\rm \longrightarrow F_{2}=21 \ N

Hence

Required forces are

\rm \longrightarrow F_{1}=20 \ N

\rm \longrightarrow F_{2}=21 \ N

Question

Mass at force required in acceleration 4kg mass at 5m/s^2 and 3kg mass at 7m/s^2 will be?

Solution

Force required in acceleration

First body = 4kg at 5m/s

Second body = 3kg at 7m/s

F = m×a

F = Force

M = Mass

A = Acceleration

Force for the first body

= (m×a)

= (4×5)N

= 20N

Force for the second body

= (m×a)

= (3×7)N

= 21N

Ans:- Force for the first body = 20N

Force for the second body = 21N
