no of moles of KMnO4 = 2.74

molecular mass of KMnO4 = atomic mass of K + atomic mass of Mn + 4 × atomic mass of O

= 39 g/mol + 55 g/mol + 4 × 16g/mol

= (39 + 55 + 64)g/mol

= 158 g/mol

now using formula,

mole = weight in gram/molecular weight

or, 2.74 = weight in gram of KMnO4/158

or, weight in gram of KMnO4 = 2.74 × 158 g

= 432.92 g

hence, mass in gram of 2.74 mol of KMnO4 is 432.92g
