Solution :-

Firstly finding mass of 1 mole of \textbf{\textsf{Ag$_2$CO$_3$}}

As we know that ,

Each mole of :-

  • Ag = 107.8 u
  • C = 12 u
  • O = 16 u

Substituting we have ,

\dashrightarrow\sf 107.8(2) + 12 + 16(3)

\dashrightarrow\sf 215.6 + 12 + 48

\dashrightarrow 275.6 units

Hence ,mass of one mole of

\textbf{\textsf{Ag $_2$CO$_3$}} is 275.6 units

Now , finding for 5.136 mole .

⇒ 5.136 ( mass of one mole of \textbf{\textsf{Ag$_2$CO$_3$}} )

⇒ 5.136 ( 275.6 )

Mass of 5.136 moles of 1107.32 units

Molar masses of:-

  • Ag = 108 g
  • C = 12 g
  • O = 16 g

∴ Molar mass of Ag2CO3 = 2(108 g) + 12 g + 3(16 g)

⇒ Molar mass = 216 g + 12 g + 48 g

⇒ Molar mass = 276 g mol^-1

Now we know,

Mass = (Molar mass)(No. of moles)

⇒ Mass = (5.136 mol)(276 g mol^-1)

⇒ Mass = 1417.5 g (ans.)
