HELLO THERE!

According to a very basic concept,

the mass of 22.4 litres / 22.4 dm³/ 22400 cc of any gas at NTP or STP (1 atm pressure, 273K temperature) is equal to its molecular weight.

Atomic mass of Sulphur (S) = 32

Atomic mass of Oxygen (O₂)= 16

So, molecular weight of Sulphur dioxide = 32 + 32 = 64

And, 64 grams of SO₂ is 22.4 litres of the same at STP/NTP.

THANKS!
