five moles of water would have a mass of 5× 18.0134= 90.067g . if the number of water molecules is avogadro's number , it would be one mole of water . because carbon weighs 12 AMU per atom ( most common isotope) and one mole of carbon weighs 12 grams , one mole of water would weigh 18 grams
