(a) MASS OF ONE MOLE OF CARBON DIOXIDE = 12grams

MASS OF 0.5 MOLE OF CARBON DIOXIDE = (12 × 0.5) grams = 6 grams

(b) MASS OF ONE MOLE OF Cl2 = 71 grams

MASS OF 2.5 MOLE OF Cl2 = (71×2.5) grams = 177.5 grams
