Mass of a body is increased by 7 times and its velocity is reduced by 5 times. Find the ratio of the new to the original momentum.​

M(original) = mv

New mass = 7m and new velocity = v/5

therefore M(new) = 7m*v/5 = 7/5 mv

ratio of M (new) : M (original) = 7/5mv : mv

= 7/5 : 1

= 7 : 5
