I WILL NOT GIVE UR QUESTION ANSWER MAKE IT ON UR OWN

BUT I WILL GIVE SAME QUESTION TYPE ANS.

First of all let us write atomic masses of carbon oxygen and hydrogen.

Atomic mass of carbon: 12

Atomic mass of oxygen: 16

Atomic mass of hydrogen: 1

Now..for C6OH22…

There are 6 carbon so..multiply 12 with 6 to get mass of 12 carbons..similarly do the same for oxygen and hydrogen..and sum them up…

So it will be…12*6+16+22*1=72+16+22=110

Hope it helps!!!!

The mass of Carbon atoms is 840 grams and mass of Hydrogen is 22 grams.

GIVEN

Formula of the compound = C₇₀H₂₂

TO FIND

Mass of all atoms of the compund.

SOLUTION

We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

We are given a compund; C₇₀H₂₂

Number of atoms of Carbon = 70

Molar mass of 1 carbon atom = 12 grams

Mass of 70 carbon atoms = 12 × 70 = 840 grams

Number of atoms of Hydrogen = 22

Mass of 1 Hydrogen atom = 1 grams

Mass of 22 Hydrogen atoms = 1 × 22 = 22 grams

Hence, The mass of Carbon atoms is 840 grams and mass of Hydrogen is 22 grams.
