mass of an aluminium object is 500g . How much amount of heat needs to be supplied in order to increase its temperature by 40°C? Specific heat of aluminium is 0.09J/k°C .​

where m is mass , s is specific heat, t is change in temperature

here m = 500 g = 0.5kg

s=0.09 J/k°C

t= 40°C

heat (Q) = 0.5* 0.09*40

= 1.8 J
