Answer ⇒ 16 gm.

Explanation ⇒ Given,

Mass of the atom of oxygen = 26.56896 × 10⁻²⁴ g.

no. of atom = 1.

Using the formula,

no. of atom = mass/atomic mass × Avogadro's number.

∴ 1 = 26.56896 × 10⁻²⁴/At. mass × 6.022 × 10²³

∴ At. mass = 15.999828 g ≈ 16 gm.

Hope it helps.

Oxygen's atomic weight is 16.00 amu. 1 mole of oxygen is 6.02 x 1023 atoms of oxygen 1 amu = 1.661 x 10-24g What is the molar mass (g/mole) of oxygen? Molar mass (in grams) is always equal to the atomic weight of the atom!❤️
