Mass of electron(m.e) =9*10^(-31) kg

Mass of proton(m.p) =1.8*10(-27) kg

Clearly, mass of a proton is greater than that of an electron.

Now,

m.p/m.e={1.8*10^(-27)}kg/{9*10^(-31)}kg

or, m.p/m.e=2000

or, m.p=2000*m.e

Thus, the mass of a proton is 2000 times greater than that of an electron.

Hope this helps..
