i) mass of water = 46.8-21.8 = 25g

density of water = 1 g/cm^3

volume of water = mass of water

Volume of bottle = 25 g/cm^3

density of bottle = M/V = 21.8 / 25 = 0.87 g/cm^3

ii) mass of liquid = 40.6 - 21.8 = 18.8 g

density of liquid = 18.8/25 = 0.75 g/cm^3

relative density = density of liquid/density of water

= 0.75/1 = 0.75
