All the objects on Earth, experience an acceleration of 9.8 m/s^2 on them due to Gravity. Since, weight is also a force, the formula to calculate Weight is same as that of calculating any force. Therefore, Weight = 10 kg * 9.8 m/s^2. Weight = 98 kg.m/s^2

weight =mg
where m is mass of object and g is acc. due to gravity
therefore weight(W)=10 kg×9.8m/s^2
W=98N
