There are 2 ways to answer this:

It would still be 12 kg, it would only take less force to lift.

It would feel like “x” kg would feel like on Earth

For 2:

1 kg = 9,807 Newton on Earth

1 kg = 1,622 Newton on the Moon

So:

12 kg on Earth would take ~118 Newton to lift

(12 kg * 9,807 N/kg = 117,684 N)

12 kg on the moon would take ~19 Newton to lift, it would feel about the same as a ~2 kg object on Earth

(12 kg * 1,622 N/kg = 19,464 N)

(19,464 N : 9,807 N/kg = 1,984704… kg)
