b. Its weight on the moon

Weight = Mass × Gravity of Earth

Weight = 12 × 9.8

Weight = 117.6 Newton (N)

a) Weight on Earth is 117.6 N

Now,

Weight on Moon

Weight on Moon = 1/6 of Weight on Earth

Weight on Moon = 1/6 × 117.6

Weight on Moon = 19.6N
