Answer :-

Given :-

  • Mass = 20 kg
  • Acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m/s²

To Find :-

  • Weight on earth
  • Weight on moon

Solution :-

We know that,

  • Weight = Mass × Acceleration due to gravity

  • Weight on moon = 1/6 weight on earth

Weight on earth = mg

= 20 × 9.8

= 196

Weight on earth = 196 N

Weight on moon = 1/6 weight on earth

= 1/6 × 196

= 32.66

Weight on moon = 32.66 N

Answer:

3.333

Explanation:

Moon has a weaker gravitational pull than Earth. Moon only has 1/6 the gravity that Earth does. So your weight will be six times less than it was on Earth . So the object will weigh about 3.333kg on the moon. (20/6 = 3.333)
