mass of Mars = 6.42 * 10^29
mass of sun = 1.99 * 10^30 = 19.9 * 10^29
so,
(6.42 + 19.9) * 10^29
= 26.32 * 10^29
=. 2.632 * 10^30

Answer:

The total mass is 2.632\times 10^{30}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Mass of Mars 6.42\times 10^{29} kg and Sun is 1.99\times 10^{30} kg.

To find : The total mass?

Solution :

Mass of the Mars M_m=6.42\times 10^{29}

Mass of the Sun M_s=1.99\times 10^{30}

Total mass is

T=M_m+M_s

T=6.42\times 10^{29}+1.99\times 10^{30}

T=(6.42+1.99\times 10)\times 10^{29}

T=(6.42+19.9)\times 10^{29}

T=26.32\times 10^{29}

T=2.632\times 10^{30}

Therefore, The total mass is 2.632\times 10^{30}
