Answer:

mass is the amount of substance in the body of a person, but weight on other hand is mass x force due to gravity, so it is dependent on gravity. in earth the gravitational force is more than that of moon. Therefore a person weighs different in earth and moon

Answer:

Mass of a matter is a constant and doesn't change whether it is measured on moon earth Jupiter or in any other galaxy.

Meanwhile the weight is actually a force which can change if a change is made in the acceleration due to gravity. The weight of the body vary if you even measure it on the equator and pole because the earth is not a perfect sphere.
