hi friend
here's your answer looking for

to understand how mass planting conserve soil, first we should know what is mass planting.

•MASS PLANTING=> Mass planting is special kind of planting method in which the plant two or more types in a same and unit area.

or , in other words, in Mass planting we can plant different kind of plants in same Area.

so what are the benefits of it?

•1). mass planting the root of one plant get combined in the root of another plant. and by this they get more fixed and have the more solid root. now as they get more solid root, they grab the soil more effectively.
and as the soil get grabbed more effectively, then the soil will also be conserved as it prevent the soil erosion.

•2). it may also plant in a small area depending upon the distance between the plants.

•3). as they take small area to be planted then, the number of plant in a unit area will also increase and this may be also helpful in the more and more production of oxygen.

hope my first point of the benefits of mass planting will help you to answer your question.
