The x and y intercept made by the line 4x+6y= 24 is
1) X - int - 6,y - int - 4
2) x - int 4,y - int 6
3) x-int 6,y - int 4
4) x-int - 4,y - int - 6

4x+6y=24
First simplify it:
2(2x+3y)=24
2X+3y=12
Now for y-intercept, it means x on y where x=0 and y has a value so
Reaaraging for y-intercept y=a+mx
3y=12-x
Y=(12-x)/3
Y=12/3 - x/3
Y=4 - x/3
So y intercept is 4 ......
———————————————————-
2X+3y=12
Same for x-intercept,y on x where y=0 and x has a value
Rearrange it for x as: x=a+my
2X=12-3y
X=(12-3y)/2
X=12/2 - 3y/2
X=6 - 3y/2
So x intercept is 6
And 3rd option is the answer
