Your question is incomplete...
I think question is this....
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match each three-dimensional figure to its volume based on the given dimensions. (Assume π = 3.14.)
Tiles(all of them should match with one another pls figure out which one i neeed it for a test)
1.a right cylinder with radius 4 cm
and height 3 cm,
2. 314 cm³
3. a cone with radius 5 cm and
height 12 cm
4. 160 cm³
5. a pyramid with base area with16 cm² and height 30 cm
6. 48 cm³
7. a pyramid with a square base of
length 3 cm and height 16 cm
8.150.72 cm³
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SOLUTION:
Volume formulas:
Cylinder = π (r²)(h)
Cone = 1/3 π(r²)(h)
Pyramid with = 1/3 a²h
a= edge of base
1. Using the formula volume for the cylinder = 3.14 (4²) (3)= 3.14× 16×3= 150.72 cm³
3. Using the formula for the cone = 1/3 3.14 (25) (12)
= 314 cm³
5. Using the pyramid formula = 1/3 (16) (30)
= 160cm³
7. pyramid formula with Square base= 1/3×3²×16
= 48 cm³
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Vol. of right cylinder --
match with 8
3. Vol. of cone --match with 2
5. Vol. of pyramid with base area ----match with 4
7. Vol. of pyramid with Square base ---match with 6
