• When a solid is dissolved in liquid, it is called a solution of solid with liquid.

• Sugar solution is a solution of sugar (solid) with water (liquid).

(ii) Solution that does not scatter light - True Solution

• A true solution reflects a beam of light passing through it and does not scatter it in different directions.

(iii) Solution in which amount of solute is smaller than solvent - Dilute Solution
