✝️Dhana Nanda was overthrown by Chandragupta Maurya. He was the last ruler of Nanda dynasty. He was the emperor of Magadha Empire and was the most powerful king in Indian subcontinent at that time. His treasury was full and the army mighty, but who was not at all popular. He was disliked by his subjects. The Nanda dynasty produced nine kings who ruled for about a century.

Ashoka organised the third Buddhist Council. Ashoka was the third and the most enlightened ruler of the Mauryan dynasty. His influence on history can be remarked in the wheel on our National Flag and the lions on our State Seal. He was one of the several sons and was selected as Yuvaraja (Crown Prince) on account of his ability for the imperial throne.

☯️Brihadratha was the last ruler of the Mauryan Empire. He ruled from 187 to 185 BCE. He was the follower of Buddhism. He was killed by his general, Pushyamitra Shunga. Finally the dynasty came to an end and gave way to the rise of Shunga dynasty.

Vagbhata was one of the most dominant classical writers of Ayurveda. He wrote a book on Ayurvedic medicine. His grandfather was also known by the same name Vagbhata. His father as well as grandfather, both were Ayurvedic scholars. He is considered to be "The Trinity" of Ayurvedic knowledge. He lived for about 135 years.
