There are various sources which cause sound pollution in our surroundings, for example, loud sound of TV., radio, loud sound of machines in factories, loud musics in parties and honking of horns etc.

What is the difference between Noice and Music? Can Music become Noice Sometimes

The sound which is unpleasant for our ears is called noise. Music is the sound which is pleasant for our ears and has sooting affect. Music becomes noise sometimes when it crosses the bearable range of sound for our ears.

(a) Dholak: Dholak has stretched membranes that vibrate to produce sound.

(b) Sitar: In sitar, the stretched strings, when vibrate, they produce sound.

(c) Flute: In flute, the air column inside it vibrates and produces sound.

Larynx is a part of the throat. It is responsible for production of sound. A sketch of a human larynx is shown in the following figure. Since vibrating objects produce sound, sound is produced due to the vibration of vocal cords.

The source of noise pollution are as following:-

1) It can be by honking horn.

2) Using DJ for a long time without any time period.

3) It can also due to increasing noise in civilization.

(B)

Music is a sound that produces pleasing sensation and Noise is unwanted sound that can be of anything like crying baby,honking of horns and by machines etc.

When a musical sound is made too loud it becomes Noise.
