There are 3 types of Bamboo's which comes from trees:-

1) Pure Bamboo Strata

2) Mixed Bamboo Strata

3) No bamboo strata

Out of the 3 categories, No bamboo strata has lowest bamboo stem density followed by Mixed Bamboo Strata . Pure Bamboo Strata has highest stem density.

Major reasons for declining Bamboo tress are :-

1) Poor harvest methods

2) Unfavourable soils and climate

3) Climate change
