x = 1000 / 25

x = 40

so 40 pens will cost 1000 rupees

(ii) 6 copies costs 21

1 copy = 21 /6

let the copies costs ₹ 70 be x

21 / 6 × X = 70

21 × X = 70 ×6

X = 420 / 21

X = 20

20 copies will costs 70 rupees
