Hi ,

1 ) If m , c are slope and y - intercepts then

the equation of the line y = mx + c

answer: y = -2x + 4

4 ) 2x + 3y = - 12

divide each term with -12, we get

( 2x / -12 ) + ( 3y / -12 ) = ( -12 / -12 )

x / ( -6 ) + y / ( -4 ) = 1

Therefore ,

x - intercept = a = -6 ,

y - intercept = b = -4

5 ) put ( 4 , -1 ) in the equation ,

4x + 3y = 13

4 × 4 + 3 ( - 1 ) = 13

16 - 3 = 13

13 = 13 ( true )

therefore ,

( 4 , - 1 ) lie on the graph of 4x + 3y = 13

6 ) y = -3x - 4

slope = m = -3 ,

y - intercept = c = -4

I hope this helps you.
