Step-by-step explanation:

Let,

f(x) = a {x}^{3} + 3 {x}^{2} - 13 \\ and \\ g(x) = 2 {x}^{3} - 5x + a

By Remainder theorem,

if f(x) is divided by (x - 2) then it satisfy, f(2)

Similarly, g(x) is divided by (x - 2) then it satisfy, g(2)

f(2) = g(2) \\ = > 8 {a} + 12 - 13 = 16 - 10 + a \\ = > 8 {a} - a = 7 \\ = > 7a = 7 \\ = > a = 1
