Profit = Investment × time

profit of A is = 3000×8+5500×7=62500

(since A invested 3000 for 8months and further 3000+2500 for next 7 months)

profit of B =4500×15=67500

(profit of A)/(profit of B)=62500/67500=25/27

Total profit given is 520

B's share of profit =(27/52)×520=270/-
