If p is the least positive value of a; then n should be equal to 4.

So, a = p = 3 - 2 = 1

Then, the reqd. expression becomes:

 \sqrt{p} + \frac{1}{ \sqrt{p} } \\ = 1 + \frac{1}{1} \\ = \frac{2}{1} \\ = 2

HOPE THIS COULD HELP!!!

Mighty007: thanks but why n should be 4
antareepray2: This is because for the least value of p, we can only take 2 and thus it is 4....
antareepray2: By trial method....
Mighty007: Can u explain
Mighty007: Okok
Mighty007: Now i understood
Mighty007: but why not 1 ?
