The length of a rectangular field is thrice its breadth. 11
the perimeter of this field is 800m, what is the length of
the field?​

explanation

if the breadth of the rectangular field is x

then the length of a field is 3x

perimeter of field is equals to 800m

so according to the problem

2 (a+b)=800

let a is length ,b is breadth

so,2 (3x+x)=800

2 (4x)=800

4x=800/2

4x=400

x=400/4

x=100

x=breadth =100

3x=length=300

therefore length =300
