Age of Ashima = 12 years

Age of sunita = 26 years

Step-by-step explanation:

The age of Ashima = x years

The age of sunita = 2x years

4(x - 6) = 2x +4x

4x - 24 = 2x + 4

4x - 2x = 4 + 24

2x = 28

x = 14

Age of Ashima = 14 - 2 = 12 years

Age of sunita = 28 - 2 = 26 years
