Step-by-step explanation:

let digit be x and y

xy=12. i.... .

10x+y +36=10y+x

=>9x-9y=36

x-y=4

y=x-4

put y=x-4 in eq i,we get

x(x-4)=12

x^2-4x-12=0

x^2-6x+2x-12=0

x(x-6)+2(x-6)=0

x=-2 and x=6

on putting x=6 in eq i then

y =2

hence, digit are 6and 2
