1) any even number is divisible by

eg: 252 is divisible by 2 as it is an evn number

2). if the sum of the digits of the given number is a multiple of 3 then it is divisible by

eg: 123, 1+2+3=6, therefore it is divisible by 3

3). if the number formed by the last two digits in a number is divisible by 4, the original number is divisible by 4

eg: 228, the 2 digits i.e. is 28 is divisible by 4, therefore the entire number is divisible by 4

4). if the number ends with 5 or 0 then it is divisible by 5

eg: 525 ends with 5 therefore it is divisible by 5

5). if the sum of the digits is a multiple of 9 then the number is divisible by 9

eg: 459, 4+5+9=18, since 18 is a multiple of 9, the given number is divisible by 9
