Explanation:

Question-:

4 {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  - 4xy

4x^2 = (2x)^2

y^2 = (y)^2

4xy = 2 × 2x × y

= (2x)^2 + (y)^2 - 2 × 2x × y

This is in the form of (a - b)^2 ..

= (2x - y)^2

Answer:

4x² + y² - 4xy

4x² = (2x)²

y² = (y)²

4xy = 2 × 2x × y

Now,

4x² + y² - 4xy =

(2x)² + (y)² - 2 × 2x × y

it's the expanded Formula of (a-b)²

so,

4x² + y² - 4xy =

(2x - y)²
