Find the value of p and then the total area of the network.

perimeter of given network

= sum of its all side

according to question

3(p+1) + 4(p - 1) = 20cm

7p - 1 = 20

p = 3

So

length = 2cm

breadth = 4cm

Area = ,2*4 = 8cm^2
