Maths:- Ch perimeter and area


A wire of length 2m and 40 cm is cut into two equal pieces and bent to form a square and an equilateral triangle. Find the length of the sides of the square and the equilateral triangle.

* so the ans is , Side of square is 0.30m and side of an equilateral triangle.​

Answer:

Wire length = 2.40m

2 pieces = 2.40 / 2 = 1.20m each

  • Square perimeter = 4xside = 1.20m

Side = 1.20/4 = 0.30 m

  • Equilateral Triangle perimeter = 3x side = 1.20m

Side = 1.20/3 = 0.40 m
