Hello Mate,

Here is your answer,

Let first number = x

And second number = y

As per the question,

x + y = 25 - - - (1)

And

x - y = 7 - - - (2)

From (2),

x = y + 7

Substitute 'x' value in equation (1), we get,

x + y = 25

(y + 7) + y = 25

2y = 25 - 7

y = 9

Substitute 'y' value in equation (1) or (2),

x - y = 7

x - 9 = 7

x = 7 + 9

x = 16

So the two numbers are 9, 16 respectively.

Hope it helps:)

\Large{\textbf{\underline{\underline{According\;to\;the\;Questions}}}}

Given,

\textbf{\underline{Sum\;of\;two\;number\;is\;25}}

\textbf{\underline{Difference\;is\;7}}

Assume

Number be x and y respectively

So,

x + y = 25 ....... (1)

x - y = 7 ........... (2)

\Large{\boxed{\bigstar{{Adding\;both\;Equation :-}}}}

x + y + (x - y) = 25 + 7

x + y + x - y = 25 + 7

2x = 25 + 7

2x = 32

\rm \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \:x=\dfrac{\cancel{32}}{\cancel{2}}

x = 16

Hence,

\Large{\boxed{\bigstar{{First\;number= 16}}}}

\Large{\boxed{\bigstar{{Second\;number:-}}}}

x + y = 25

16 + y = 25

y = 25 - 16

y = 9

Therefore,

\huge{\boxed{\sf\:{First\;number = 16\;and\;Second\;number = 9}}}
