2x+y=6
=> 2(-3)+y=6 {x=-3 (given)}
=> -6+y=6
=> y=12
Similarly,
2x-y+2=0
=> 2 (-3)-y+2=0
=> -6-y+2=0
=> y=-4
Area of the shaded part,
1/2×16×3
=24 sq. units
