3x-9 = 10x + 5

3× - 10x = 5 + 9

-7x = 14

x = -2

substituting thevalue of x in the given equation

3(-2-3) = 5(2×-2 + 1)

-6-9 = 5(-4+1)

-15 = 5(-3)

-15 = -15

LHS =RHS
