Hello there !
_________________________________________________________
Jackson said -   if we double the circumference of a circle then the circle area will be get doubled
lets check it
_____________________________________________________________
Lets suppose circumference of circle = 2πr
                                area       "     "      = πr²
_____________________________________________________________
If radius of circle is 3 cm
its circumference is  6π
and its area is  9 π
____________________________________________________________
when we double the circumference
12 π
it means radius get doubled
after doubling area will be
36 π ( 4 x 9 π)
____________________________________________________________
it means doubling the circumference will not doubled the area

According to Jackson,

Doubling the circumference of a circle results in the doubling of the circle's area.
----------------------------

Checking whether it is correct,

We know that,

Circumference of a circle = 2πr

Area of the circle = πr²

Let's have an example,

Take radius of the circle = 2 cm

Circumference of the circle = 2π(2)

→ = 4π

Area of the circle = π(2)²

→ = 4π

Circumference is doubled,

2(4π) = 8π

= 2π(4)

It means radius is doubled,

Therefore,

Now doubled radius = 4

Area of the circle = π(4)²

→ 16π

Area of the circle is not doubled.

So,Jackson is not correct.

Hope it helps,,......
