area of trapezium =9450sq.m
Let one parallel side be 'x',then A.T.Q, the other parallel side be '2x'
The distance between two parallel=84m
area of trapezium =h(a+b)/2
9450=84(x+2x)/2
9450*2=84(3x)
18900=84(3x)
18900/84=3x
225=3x
x=225/3
x=75
Therefore, the length of the longer side of the parallel side=2x=2*75=150m

Answer:
The length of longer side is 150 m
Step-by-step explanation:
Let one side be a=x
Another side be b=2x
The height is given as 84m
The area is
1/2 (a+b)h=
3x(84)=18900
x=18900/3×84
x=75
So the length of longer side is 150 m
