Step-by-step explanation:

1) 3-4 of 240 student = 3/4 × 240

= 3×60 = 180 students.

1-8 of 240 students = 1/8 × 240

= 1×30 = 30 students.

(180+30) students = 210 students.

2) Time = Distance/Speed

= 50/30 = 1.7 hr (approx)
