Finding LCM of 5 and 7
Write numbers from 1 to 100 on a 10 X 10 grid.
1. Counting in 5s, colour all the squares blue.
For example, 5, 10, 15,...
2. Counting in 7s, colour all the squares yellow.
For example, 7, 14, 21...
3. Observe if there are squares with numbers which are green in colour (blue +
yellow = green).
4. Now start from 1 and find out the first square which is green in colour.
This number is the LCM of5 and 7.
