According to question, AB = AC and DB = DC.

Hence, we can say that in triangle ABC,

1. ∠ABC = ∠ACB (Angles opposite equal sides in an isosceles triangle are equal)

Similarly, in Triangle DBC, we can say that

2. ∠DBC = ∠DCB

Now, if we subtract 2. from 1. we get

∠ABC - ∠DBC = ∠ACB - ∠DCB

∠ABD = ∠ACD
